Aquarium Schedule
Champney’s West Aquarium continues to be open daily this week.
It will be closed on Monday, October 10
Open again from Tuesday, October 11 to Friday, October 14th, when it then closes for the season.

Yes it is that time of year again. Champney’s West will be full of artistic talent (Friday’s old fashioned variety concert), glamour (the gorgeous island girls) and Olympic quality sailing (cardboard box boat racing) Come and join us for a weekend of fun and laughter.

Everett Piercey has generously donated carved walking sticks and carved wood spirits in support of our fundraising. While quantities last, a minimum donation of $100 will receive a carved walking stick; a minimum donation of $50 will receive a carved wood spirit. You can make a donation using the Donate button on our website at: www.champneyisland.net , submitting a cheque payable to “Champney’s West Heritage Group Inc.” or making a cash donation at the Heritage House in Champney’s West. Donations will be used to support: Champney’s West Heritage House;Champney’s West Aquarium and the Fox Island Trail.
Our team of staff and supporters from Memorial University have been working hard to get the sea water flowing into the Aquarium and into the viewing tanks. We are pleased to report that on Friday 22nd July we were successful!
