Show and Tell at the Aquarium
Come to the Aquarium on Saturday, July 15th, 2017 at 1 pm. Admission to the Aquarium will include a special Show & Tell session by Fiona Cuthbert, Laboratory Instructor Biology Department and Dr. Bob Hooper, retired Professor of Biology, Memorial University. Fiona and Bob are past Manager and Director of the Bonne Bay Marine Station, Norris Point. We hope to see you there!
Aquarium and Heritage House Update
Heritage House – June opening hours – Wednesday – Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Aquarium – Delayed opening. The ice has stopped the installation of our sea water intake, we hope that the ice will leave soon. Check back regularly for opening date announcement
Aquarium open to the public

Tea and Sea and See
We are hosting a Tea and Sea and See at our fabulous aquarium on September 10th Please drop by and join us for some Tea and See what we have collected from the Sea
Walking Sticks and Wood Spirits – yours with a donation
Everett Piercey has generously donated carved walking sticks and carved wood spirits in support of our fundraising. While quantities last, a minimum donation of $100 will receive a carved walking stick; a minimum donation of $50 will receive a carved wood spirit. You can make a donation using the Donate button on our website at: www.champneyisland.net , submitting a cheque payable to “Champney’s West Heritage Group Inc.” or making a cash donation at the Heritage House in Champney’s West. Donations will be used to support: Champney’s West Heritage House;Champney’s West Aquarium and the Fox Island Trail.
